Hello!

My name is Kelsey. I’m an ultramarathon trail runner from Newfoundland, currently based in Fredericton, New Brunswick.

I recently completed my MSc Kinesiology in sport psychology at Dalhousie University, exploring the factors that influence performance and well-being of endurance athletes, teams, and coaches. I’m excited about helping people unlock their full potential, and am working towards accreditation as a Mental Performance Consultant. I graduated in 2016 from the University of New Brunswick’s Renaissance College with a B. Phil in Interdisciplinary Leadership and Psychology, where I studied as a Loran Scholar.

Growing up in the beautiful town of Steady Brook, Newfoundland, I was incredibly lucky to be surrounded by mountains, rivers, valleys, and oceans. Family hikes and outdoor adventures growing up nurtured my love of adventure and nature from a young age.

Whether I’m running 200 miles through the mountains or leading an experiential workshop, I love to explore curiosities and try to approach everything with optimism and enthusiasm. Helping people of all ages nurture a love of movement and nature appreciation (especially trail running!) brings me so much joy, and I am excited to create opportunities that help people discover their full potential.

I’m currently living in Fredericton along the banks of the Wolastoq river with my partner and a service-puppy-in training named Ralph. If you’re ever passing through the city, please reach out for a coffee chat, local trail guide, or a place to stay when you’re visiting - I’d love to hear your story or collaborate on an idea together!

Happy trails,

Kelsey
